cDavid: how to digitize a photo archive?
This report from cDavid, a project of the Flemish digital cultural heritage, offers recommendations for realising visual archives based on lessons learnt end best practices. You can download the report here (2.4 Mb in pdf, Dutch). Since yesterday, incidentally, a large part of Ostend's visual archive can be visited on www.beeldbankoostende.be (Dutch).
